SSAI

Server-side ad insertion — ads stitched into the content stream before it reaches the device.

With SSAI the ad and the content arrive as one continuous stream, so playback never buffers at the ad break and client-side blockers cannot remove the ad. Tracking must be fired server-to-server, which makes independent logging important.
