VAST

Video Ad Serving Template — the IAB XML standard for delivering video ads to players.

VAST tells a video player where the creative file is, how long it runs, which tracking URLs to fire at each quartile, and where a click should go. VAST 4 adds separate media and interactive files, universal ad IDs and better server-side support.
