VMAP

Video Multiple Ad Playlist — describes where ad breaks sit in a video.

VMAP is a wrapper that schedules ad breaks (pre-roll, mid-roll at a timecode, post-roll) and points each break at a VAST response. It is what makes ad pods possible in long-form and CTV content.
